GOOD BYE ! "/

Good Bye China. I thought that i would do one more post before i leave for my flight back to America. I decided to show a picture of the area i was in before i left.

Day 4....Last Day in China

Well today is my last day in china and my flight leaves in 6 hours. I am so sad to be leaving its devastating. One interesting fact about Chinese food is their spices are out of this world. They are absolutely delicious. They just may be better then American cuisine. In my opinion anyways. Well next blog ill be saying that I am leaving for my flight .

CHINESE CUISINE (:

Day 3 in China

I've been researching china about their meals and how Americans got to their meals. One meal I found out about was Sesame Chicken which i absolutely love.! Sesame Chicken can be found in almost everywhere in the U.S because everyone should love chinese cuisine.

Another Day in China (cont'd)

Well back from my tasting. What I went to go taste was the Egg Drop Soup. To me it tasted alright from the usual food I am used to back in America. Here is the recipe if you want to make it ^.^

  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 4 cups of chicken stock*
  • 1 tablespoon of corn starch
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce*
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper
  • 3/4 cup of straw, enoki, or sliced shitaki mushrooms

Another Day in China

Gooooooood Morning. Another day here in China. Today I slept in and enjoyed it. I called family that was away and I was seeing how they were doing, you know the U.S. is only 13 hours behind us. Therefore I have to call them at the right time. Other then that today I think I'm about to go and try a meal that I am dying to try. Back in a jiffy. (:

My Studies in China

In China i have met a friend named Bei Mei Ning. She has learned how to speak english so that we may communicate. She has told me so much about her culture. She has told me some of their favorite seasonings and how she thinks they taste on her taste buds. She has told me about ginger, garlic, leeks, onions, salt, peppercorns, chiles, and many oils.

Day 2 cont'd of my day in China

Ahh, back from my trip to learn about something new about China. All of their cooking techniques were fun to learn about. My favorite techique i would have to say was shallow frying. This is because it is an oil-based cooking technique. It is typically used to prepare portion-sized cuts of meat and fish, and patties such as fritters. Which in my opinion makes it fun to cook, and its better than deep frying.
